Cebu Kicks Off Holiday Season with Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremonies

It’s a holly jolly Christmas as Cebu’s establishments light up their Christmas Trees to greet the holiday season.

SM Mabolo
SM City Cebu welcomes the holiday season through the launching of their official Christmas tree lighting ceremony “Santa’s Enchanted Fables” last November 10, 2024, at the North Atrium of SM City Cebu. The 30 ft Christmas tree, adorned with holographic butterflies, the larger-than-life Santa, crystal-like animal figures, and glowing mystical plants, evoke scenes from Santa’s mythical tales, exuding the whimsical, fantastical, and festive charm of Christmas.

 

 

 

Maayo Hotel 
Maayo Hotel lights up its Panaghiusa Tree, made of anahaw leaves, during its Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Memorandum of Agreement Signing Ceremony with HOMM Brand last November 9, 2024, at the hotel Gallery, highlighting the essence of “panaghiusa” or unity for the Christmas season. The Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony was led by Project Director Toh Chee Yong, Banyan Group SVP, Design & Business Development Dharmali Kusumadi, Primary Group Builders President & Chairman Engr. Wiliam Christopher Liu, the SVP, Human Resources & Admin Paulette Liu, and the Board of Directors Beatrice Liu.

 

 

Bluewater
Bluewater Maribago Beach Resort celebrates the holiday season with a Christmas tree lighting ceremony at the hotel’s Rotunda on November 16, 2024, together with Assistant General Manager Domiku Ugarte, Congresswoman Cindi-King Chan, Former Lapu-Lapu City Councilor Queenie Amman, and with the University of the Visayas choral group filling the air with enchanting and festive melodies.

 

 

Seda
On November 13, 2024, Seda Central Bloc hosted their official Christmas tree-lighting ceremony “Bituin sa Pasko”, with the Capiz parols as a central element in the design paying homage to Filipino traditions. This event marked the start of Seda Central Bloc Cebu’s celebration of the holiday season.
