The mission provided comprehensive medical and dental consultations, laboratory services, health screenings, and free medicines, thanks to the combined efforts of volunteer doctors, dentists, nurses, healthcare students, and support staff.

Beneficiaries received not only treatment but also guidance on preventive care and healthy living.
Since the early 2000s, the Banilad Center and its partners have been steadfast in organizing outreach programs, especially for underserved communities. Over the years, the group has extended services to rural areas, disaster-stricken provinces such as Tacloban during Typhoon Yolanda, and various mission sites across the Visayas and Mindanao. Even during challenging times like the COVID-19 pandemic, the spirit of volunteerism remained strong.

This year’s mission continues that tradition of bayanihan, bringing together healthcare professionals, local leaders, and student volunteers under one goal: to make quality healthcare accessible to all. Beyond the immediate relief of medical and dental services, the activity also seeks to foster health awareness, empower young students to value community service, and strengthen partnerships between institutions and grassroots communities.
The organizers expressed their gratitude to partner organizations, stakeholders, and the many volunteers who made the event possible. They emphasized that while missions like these cannot solve all health problems overnight, they leave a lasting impact by planting seeds of hope, compassion, and solidarity among the people they serve.

The mission is more than just about medicine and treatment but it is about showing that people care, that health is a right, and that service can truly uplift communities.
